Practising acceptance December 13, 2015 – Posted in: Personal Development – Tags: , , ,

I’m blessed to have some incredibly wise people in my life and one of them has just said this…

“Practising acceptance does not mean doing nothing. Rather, it means staying with the uncomfortable feelings whilst praying, meditating and thinking on what the next right action is to take.”

I love that! Fear makes us either want to dive in, control and get a quick result OR do nothing, stay small and get resentful.

But, the beautiful middle ground of acceptance whilst waiting for wisdom enables us to keep our balance, go with the flow and stay serene.

Balance is one of life’s most precious gifts – cultivated through daily practice of timeless principles like acceptance, non-resistance, love, courage and teachability.
